Economic Development
HNH’s Economic Development Program is designed
to:
-
Identify and create entrepreneurial opportunities
for clients, vendors, suppliers and contractors who are doing
business with the agency and
-
Create and implement economic development initiatives to generate
revenue that HNH can reinvest in the community to help develop
a stronger economic base.
Technical assistance is offered in the areas of small business development, identifying opportunities for small women and minority own contractors, preparation of business plans and pro-formas, neighborhood planning, housing development and job training.
Our staff also works with
families and individuals to help them navigate the bureaucracy
of credit worthiness, mortgage applications, house/apartment
search, purchase negotiations, closing procedures, rental agreements and budgeting for home ownership.
Hall Neighborhood House has just recently
completed a $6.1 million 41 unit senior citizen housing development.
